Metal Bookends for Home Office
A home office shelf gets looked at all day. It's worth getting right. Atelier Article's geometric bookends are made for exactly this context — clean forms, no excess detail, substantial enough to feel considered. The range includes Bauhaus, Curly Braces, Gold Diamond, X-Shaped Steel, Golden Minimalist, and Quotation Mark, all laser-cut from steel in our Cherkasy workshop and hand-finished.
They hold books, binders, and reference materials without drama, and they look like something you chose deliberately rather than something that came with the shelf.

Frequently asked questions
Which geometric and minimal designs do you offer?
Our desk-appropriate designs are Bauhaus, Curly Braces, Gold Diamond, X-Shaped Steel, Golden Minimalist, and Quotation Mark. See them all in the bookends collection.
Are these heavy enough to hold binders and reference books?
Yes. Each bookend is solid laser-cut steel at 400–800g per piece. They hold a standard row of hardbacks, binders, or folders without shifting.
What's the difference between powder coat and patina finish?
Powder coat is matte black — a hard industrial finish baked onto the steel. Patina is a hand-applied chemical oxidation that gives a darker, more organic tone with slight variation. Both are durable and maintenance-free indoors.
Do you make custom sizes?
We do take custom orders — size adjustments, finish variations, or specific dimensions for built-in shelving. Contact us through the site with your shelf dimensions.
