What finish options are available?
Most designs come in matte black powder coat. Several are also available in an oxidised patina — a warmer, more aged tone that works well in rooms with natural materials like wood, linen, or stone.
Are these purely decorative, or do they actually hold books?
Both. The steel base gives real weight — typically 400–800g per bookend — so they stay put and hold a standard row of books without slipping.
How do I choose between designs for a specific interior?
For minimal or Scandinavian-leaning interiors, the Winter Trees or Metal Tree designs blend naturally. For warmer or more maximalist spaces, Tree of Life or Angel Wings anchor a shelf well. The city designs work in travel or print-heavy shelfscapes.
