Bookends for Cookbook Shelf
Most bookends are generic. A cookbook shelf is not — it's a specific place with its own logic, and it deserves something that belongs there. Atelier Article makes four kitchen-themed steel bookends: COOK, Fork & Knife, Spatula & Whisk, and Artichoke. Each is laser-cut from steel in our Cherkasy workshop, hand-finished, and powder-coated in matte black.
They're heavy enough to hold a row of thick cookbooks upright without drifting, and specific enough that anyone who sees them knows exactly where they live.

Frequently asked questions
Which kitchen-themed bookend designs do you make?
We currently have four designs: COOK, Fork & Knife, Spatula & Whisk, and Artichoke. See the full range in our bookends collection.
Will they hold heavy cookbooks?
Yes. Each bookend is solid steel, typically 400–800g per piece, with a flat base that grips the shelf. They hold a standard row of thick hardback cookbooks without sliding.
What finish are they, and will it survive a kitchen environment?
Matte black powder coat — a baked-on industrial finish that resists moisture, grease splatter, and everyday handling far better than paint.
Do these work as a gift for someone who cooks?
They do. The Fork & Knife or Spatula & Whisk designs read immediately. We ship in protective packaging; orders typically dispatch within 2–3 business days.
