Measure before choosing a log holder
Measure the available width, depth and height, and leave enough clearance for loading logs and cleaning around the holder. Log length, diameter and stacking method vary, so use the dimensions on each product page rather than estimating capacity from photographs alone.
Place the holder on a stable, level surface and follow the clearance and safety instructions supplied with your fireplace or stove. The rack stores firewood near the hearth; it is not part of the fire enclosure.
