Architectural Bookends
Five cities, five structures, cut from the same steel. Atelier Article's architectural bookends cover the Brooklyn Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, New York Skyline, London, and Paris — each rendered as a laser-cut steel silhouette, hand-finished in our Cherkasy workshop, and powder-coated or patina-treated.
The range is small and deliberately so. Each design was chosen because the skyline or structure translates well into a flat profile — the suspension cables of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Eiffel Tower's geometry, the London skyline's mix of spire and dome. They hold books, they work on any shelf, and they mean something to the right person.

Frequently asked questions
Which architectural and city designs do you make?
The current range is Brooklyn Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, New York Skyline, London, and Paris — all in our bookends collection. Each is a laser-cut steel silhouette, hand-finished in our workshop.
How much detail do the city silhouettes capture?
Enough to be immediately readable. The Brooklyn Bridge shows the towers and cables. The New York Skyline captures the distinctive midtown profile. Laser cutting is precise, so thin elements like cables and towers hold their shape.
What finish options are available?
Matte black powder coat and oxidised patina. Powder coat gives a graphic, high-contrast look. Patina gives a darker, more layered tone that suits a warmer or more eclectic interior.
Are these suitable as a gift for someone with a connection to one of these cities?
That's genuinely a good use for them. The designs are specific enough to be meaningful without being tourist-souvenir in feel — they're made from real steel by a real workshop, not cast resin.
