How many records fit in each crate?
The Metal Crate on Wheels comes in three depths holding 80, 100 or 120 LPs. The Minimalist crate and the TWINS two-row crate hold 100. The Industrial crate holds 80.
What are the external depths of the Metal Crate on Wheels?
16.5 in / 42 cm for 80 records, 20.5 in / 52 cm for 100, and 24.4 in / 62 cm for 120. A different depth can be requested when technically feasible; capacity, price and lead time are confirmed before ordering.
Why choose a crate instead of a rack?
Crates are open-topped, so you flick through records front to back the way you would in a shop, rather than pulling them out of a slot. Most crates here are on wheels, so the whole box moves to the turntable instead of you carrying armfuls of records.
Do the crates arrive assembled, and what wheels do they use?
They ship fully assembled with wheels attached. The standard fitment is four freely rotating, non-locking wheels; the Red Sticks crate uses rear wheels only. Locking wheels can be requested on most models when technically feasible.
