Compass Rose Metal Bookmark — Black
Compass rose metal bookmark — a slim black page marker, 6.7 inches long, with an openwork compass rose pendant that rests at the bottom of your book. Light in hand. Precise in use. The kind of object you notice every time you pick up a book.
Made at our studio in Ukraine, where we've been working with metal since 2011. Every bookmark is laser cut, hand bent, and powder coated individually — the compass rose detail holds its form through each step, point by point, inner circle intact.

How long is this metal bookmark?
6.7 inches / 17 cm — fits any standard paperback, novel, or hardcover without folding pages.
Will this scratch my book pages?
The edges are finished smooth. The stem slides between pages cleanly with no rough edges or burrs.
Is this bookmark handmade?
Yes. Every bookmark is laser cut, hand bent, and powder coated at Atelier Article's studio in Ukraine, which has made metal objects since 2011. Not mass-produced.
What does the compass rose look like?
An eight-point openwork compass rose — the classic navigational symbol, cut with fine inner detailing visible from both sides. Approximately 0.8 in / 2 cm in diameter.
Most metal bookmarks are stamped flat with no character. This one is cut from steel with a compass rose that has real dimensional openwork — the same approach used on every piece in the Atelier Article studio.
