Metal Vinyl Record Storage Rack
A vinyl collection needs a rack that keeps records accessible, upright, and out of trouble — not buried in a crate or stacked in a way that warps them. Atelier Article makes open-frame steel racks for exactly this: ladder-style units and display stands welded by hand in our Cherkasy workshop, with slots and spacing designed around standard 12-inch sleeves.
The steel is laser-cut and hand-welded, finished in powder coat or patina. The open frame means airflow around the sleeves and full visibility of your covers. These are made to live in a listening room, a lounge corner, or against a wall where the collection is part of the room.

Frequently asked questions
What rack styles do you make for vinyl?
We make open-frame steel racks, ladder-style display stands, and wall-leaning units. The full range is in our vinyl record storage collection.
How many records does a standard rack hold?
It depends on the model. Our standard rack holds approximately 50–80 LPs in a single upright row. Multi-tier or ladder-style units hold more. Custom size orders are available.
Will the steel damage record sleeves over time?
No. The powder coat or patina finish seals the steel surface — there are no raw edges against the sleeves after finishing. All contact points are ground smooth before coating.
Are these freestanding, or do they need to be wall-mounted?
Our standard vinyl racks are freestanding — no wall fixings required. The welded steel base gives enough stability for a full load of records. Wall-mounted options are also available.
