Super cute little log and kindling holder. Smaller than I thought but my bad in that for not reading the listing sizes correctly. Well made and sturdy.
Compact Bauhaus — the 27.5 in version of the Bauhaus log holder, with the round kindling section on top
The same ring-on-a-column geometry as the tall Bauhaus, cut down for a smaller room: logs in the column, kindling in the ring. Owners use it indoors and beside an outdoor oven, and call it “easy to move around”. Hand-welded in the Atelier Article workshop in Cherkasy, Ukraine; clear coat over raw steel or matte black.
An evening's logs plus kindling. One owner wrote it was “smaller than I thought — my bad for not reading the listing sizes”, and another was surprised how little it weighs: it is 27.5 in tall on a 10.6 × 14.2 in footprint, hollow 10 mm tube, and it feels light in the hand. Both went on to call it well made and sturdy.
The frame is 14.2 in (36 cm) deep and the logs rest through it front to back, so standard 16-inch US firewood sits with a few inches showing on each side — that is how it is designed and how it looks in the photos. Shorter 10–12 in logs sit fully inside the frame.
Size class: Compact — an evening's logs beside the fire. Nearby in the range: the same model in white, the tall Bauhaus (42 in, a day's wood).
The frame is 10 × 10 mm (⅜ in) square steel tube, hand-welded. It is slimmer than most hearth furniture and lighter than it looks — reviewers say “lighter than expected” and “sturdy” in the same sentence — so it moves easily for cleaning and does not overpower a small room.
Four legs with plastic pads, so the steel does not sit directly on wood or tile. On an uneven stone hearth, a felt pad under one leg levels it.
Made for indoor use next to a fireplace or wood stove. Several owners keep one on a covered porch or patio; if you do, spray the frame with a wax protectant once a season so the powder coat lasts.
Add a hook for the poker, a steel poker, or both — the hook fixes to the column so the tool hangs beside the wood.
Atelier Article accepts custom work: taller, narrower, deeper, or trimmed to fit under a mantel, and other powder-coat colours. Send your measurements; the workshop confirms feasibility, price and lead time before you order.
Ships welded and assembled from Cherkasy, Ukraine, with tracking. United States, Canada and the United Kingdom; US orders ship free with import duties prepaid. No EU delivery.

Super cute little log and kindling holder. Smaller than I thought but my bad in that for not reading the listing sizes correctly. Well made and sturdy.
It is very attractive, and the welding and finish appear to be well done. I was surprised at how little it weighs. I was expecting heavier steel or iron given the description. It does not feel like metal. If it can handle the job, then my criticism is not appropriate. Time will tell.
Strong, lovely design that is easy to move around. Works perfectly. Item arrived quickly - well packaged. Thank you!
Sturdy, great looking way to organize wood and kindling for our outdoor oven.

Yes. The frame is about 10.5 in (27 cm) deep and the logs rest through it front to back, so 16-inch logs sit with a few inches showing on each side — exactly as in the photos. Shorter 10–12 in logs sit fully inside the frame.
It depends on the model: the compact and square models hold an evening's logs by the fire, the slim and tall columns hold roughly a day's wood (owners mention “three bundles” and “1–2 days”), and the large Montana holds enough for 8–10 hours of fire. Each product page states the exact frame size; measure your space against it, since the most common surprise in reviews is that the piece is smaller than it looked in the photo.
