An entryway is a high-traffic, low-space problem. A shoe rack there needs to be compact, sturdy, and not embarrassing when guests arrive. Atelier Article makes hand-welded steel shoe racks for exactly this — narrow-profile and compact configurations built in our Cherkasy workshop, finished in powder coat that handles the daily abuse of an entryway without showing it.
The steel frame is open, so shoes dry properly and nothing hides in the structure. The welds are clean. These are made to last the full life of the hallway they live in.

How many pairs does a standard rack hold?
Our standard entryway rack holds 6–9 pairs depending on shoe size and tier count. We make two- and three-tier versions. Custom configurations are available.
Will the powder coat hold up with wet, muddy shoes?
Yes. Powder coat is baked onto the steel at high temperature — it resists moisture, mud, and the normal impact of shoes being dropped on it. A damp cloth is enough for cleaning.
Are these stable, or do they tip when loaded on one side?
The base is welded as a single unit, not assembled from parts. With a full load of shoes distributed across the tiers, the rack stays stable.
