Industrial Vinyl Record Storage
Some record collections belong in a space that looks like it was built, not decorated. These pieces are for that. Atelier Article's industrial vinyl storage starts with hand-welded steel crates — visible welds, raw or darkened finish, no attempt to look like furniture. There are static crates for shelves and consoles, heavier freestanding units, and mobile crate configurations on castors for people who rearrange frequently. The steel is the same laser-cut structural grade used across the workshop in Cherkasy, Ukraine, but the finishing is deliberately minimal — letting the material read as what it is.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I see all industrial and crate-style vinyl storage?
The full range is in the vinyl record storage collection.
What finish do the industrial pieces have — will they rust?
Industrial units get a clear protective coat rather than a full powder-coat colour. This preserves the raw steel look while blocking surface oxidation. For indoor use in a normal heated space, this holds well.
Are the welds load-bearing or just tack welds?
Full structural welds throughout. The crate format puts shear load on corner joints when moved or fully loaded, so tack welds would eventually fail.
Can I get a mobile crate with locking castors?
Yes. The mobile units ship with swivel castors; locking versions are available — specify at checkout or in the order notes.
